Who and what surrounds you will either fund your next chapter or quietly tax it.

You can have the right plan and the wrong room, and the room will win more often than you think.
Environment is not just who you spend time with. It is your calendar, your feed, your kitchen table conversations, your bank app, the noise you fall asleep to. All of it is either funding your next chapter or quietly taxing it.
Some relationships cost money. Some cost focus. Some cost the belief you need to make a hard decision. I have watched people talk themselves out of good moves because the loudest voice around them had never made one.
You do not have to cut everyone off. But you do have to be honest about who gets a vote in your decisions.
1. List the five people you talk to most. Beside each name write what you leave the conversation with: energy, clarity, guilt or noise.
2. Look at your calendar. What percentage of last week went to things that build your next chapter? Do not judge it. Just measure it.
3. Look at your inputs. What are you reading, watching and scrolling? Your beliefs are downstream of your inputs.
4. Look at your physical space. Where do the papers, the mail and the decisions pile up? Clutter is often deferred decisions wearing a disguise.
Add one person who is further along than you. Add one space where the standard is higher than yours. Protect two hours a week that belong to your future, not your inbox.
This is exactly why the Rise Stronger™ work happens so well in groups — in a church, an organization, a workplace or a circle of women who decide to grow at the same time. Momentum is contagious. So is stagnation. Choose your exposure.
One decision
Your past may explain your money. It doesn't get to decide it. Take the first step — and you don't have to do it alone.
