Print these, keep them close, and read them on the days momentum feels thin.
By Tabitha Lewis, MBA — Business & Tax Strategist
Some days you need a strategy. Some days you need a reminder. Here are the five I come back to — for myself and for the women I work with.
Where you started explains the skills you built. It does not set the ceiling. I have rewritten my own beginning enough times to promise you that.
Motivation is weather. Clarity is a map. When you know your numbers, your next step and your reason, you can move on a low-energy day — and low-energy days are most of them.
Perfection is fear wearing a nice outfit. Ship the offer. Send the email. Make the call. Fix it in version two.
Chasing the top line while ignoring what you keep is how hardworking people stay broke. Know your keep number, then grow it on purpose.
Doing it alone is not strength. It is just slower and heavier. Every real jump I have made came with support, structure and someone who would tell me the truth.
Read them on the thin days. Then take one step anyway — that is the whole method.
One decision
Your past may explain your money. It doesn't get to decide it. Take the first step — and you don't have to do it alone.
